Salon Policies & Guidelines

Appointment reminders will be sent by email and/or SMS.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please call us at (484) 860-3060 or update your appointment reservation online. We do not accept cancellation requests via text or email.

To protect our stylists’ time, a credit card is required to reserve all appointments.
New guests are required to pay a $50 non-refundable deposit at booking, which will be applied to your service on the day of your appointment.

We kindly ask for a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any appointment changes.

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. We understand that unexpected changes happen, but we ask that you respect our stylists’ time by following our cancellation guidelines below:

  • 48+ hours notice: No fee.

  • Less than 48 hours notice: Charged 50% of the scheduled service.

  • Day-of cancellation: Charged 75% of the scheduled service.

  • No-call/no-show: Charged 100% of the scheduled service, and deposits are forfeited.


Repeat offenders may be restricted from scheduling future appointments.

If you are running behind, please call us at (484) 860-3060 so we can determine whether we can still accommodate your service. Arriving 15 minutes or more late may require rescheduling to avoid impacting the next guest.
In cases where the appointment cannot be completed, the applicable late-cancellation or no-show fee may apply.

A 4% Experience Fee is applied to all transactions. This small contribution supports ongoing education for our team, salon technology, environmental initiatives, and the behind-the-scenes essentials that allow us to maintain a modern, welcoming space for every guest.

For services rendered, all payments are expected on the same day of your booked appointment. We accept all major credit cards as well as cash. Checks are not accepted.

For gratuity, we offer the use of a kiosk center called Tippy. This will show up on your bank statement as a separate transaction.

We want you to love your hair, or let us know. We’ll always do our best to make it right.

Should you have any concerns regarding your services, please call within seven days to let us know so that we may happily work with you to get it just right. We do not offer refunds for hair services.

Products purchased are final sale, and we cannot accept returns or refunds on an opened product.

Color processing gowns are provided for your services to for the protection of your personal belongings against any staining or water that may occur during your appointment. Our gowns are laundered after each use.

In conjunction with your gown, we provide a towel and styling cape. We do our utmost to protect you and your clothes during your visit. Rooted Salon is not responsible for any stained clothing or belongings if the gown is not utilized properly.

Rooted Salon Gift Certificates are available year round for gifts that are perfect for any occasion. They are available at our front desk in any amount requested or online.

Gift Certificates can be redeemed responsibly for services only.

Please enjoy the use of our store-front parking lot, whether it be in front on the salon or on the side of the building.

The salon is located in a three-business unit and Rooted is Suite 2.

Handicapped spaces can be found to the right of the salon.
