Meet Gabriela

You will know you’ve met Gabby when you are greeted by her beautiful, smiling face! Gabriela is Rooted Salon’s apprentice, studying directly under Katelyn. Gabby graduated Metro Beauty Academy in October 2022. She works full-time at the salon making sure all guests receive an amazing shampoo and head massage, all while keeping things tidy and organized. In the beauty industry, once licensed, it is imperative that your education be continued and you are given the opportunity to learn in a ‘real-world’ situation. You will notice Gabby working simultaneously on a mannequin, observing Katelyn’s color placement and formula, blowdrying, and applying client’s glazes. Our goal is to build Gabby’s book and have her flourish into a stylist at Rooted! Stay tuned for announcements regarding Gaby taking on new guests.

While Gabby is not at the salon, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Jarrod. She is a cat-mom to Harrison and Sushi. Gabby, originally from Mexico, moved to the States with her family when she was thirteen. Her hobbies include spending time cooking in the kitchen, practicing new eye makeup looks, working out, reading, and enjoying a perfect cup of coffee! She is looking forward to advancing in her career and is looking forward to making your salon visit just that much sweeter!
